Milton Youth Volleyball Club provides beach volleyball training at Milton’s beautiful sand courts at the Milton Sports Centre. Run by Beach Director, coach Gus Tsiapalis – the mission is to create a fun and competitive volleyball experience for athletes that have a desire to play beach volleyball competitively, for athletes that already play OVA beach and are committed to take their play to the next level, and for young athletes new to volleyball and the sand to help grow a love for volleyball.
Spikes on the Beach Volleyball Camp –FULL for 2018– July 2nd – 6th, 2018. Run in past by Milton Youth Beach Volleyball Club, this Half Day one week camp was the competitive volleyball launching point for many Milton Rep athletes. Endorsed by the Ontario Volleyball Association for Grades 2-8 (graduating year 2018), boys and girls of all ability levels (skill development, intermediate, and competitive 2-on-2) will have fun developing their skills in the sand.
Elite Beach Training – FULL for 2018– The Elite program is designed for experienced OVA players, 12u-17u. Athletes will train two times a week for the beach season (beginning of June to mid August). Athletes do not need to compete in the OVA beach tour to be part of this program. Each session is led by our experienced professional beach volleyball head coaches.
Premier Beach Training – FULL for 2018– The Premier program is for athletes 14u-17u who have chosen to train in a partnership, committing to a minimum of 4 OVA beach tournaments + provincials + nationals. Athletes in the Premier Beach program will train three times a week for the beach season (beginning of June to mid August). Head coach Gus Tsiapalis (OVA Advanced beach and 2012 Olympic beach volleyball coach) will lead training, joined occasionally by select guest coaches including Olympian Beach player Martin Reader. Registration will be limited to allow individual focused attention.
