To start out 2019 strong, 5 Milton Edge girls teams (14U Platinum, 15U, 16U Fierce, 17U, 18U) travelled to Montreal Jan 5-6, for the Montreal Cup Junior Championship 2019. It was structured as a championship with the same rules and regulations as a U.S. volleyball tournament. All 5 Edge teams competed well. 14U Platinum Girls were first in pool play and 2nd in repool play, advancing to Division 1, and finishing 4th of 16 teams. 16U Fierce Girls were first in pool play and first in their repool, advancing to semi-finals Division 1, and finishing 4th of 17 teams. 18U Girls played a strong second day, finishing 1st in Division 4.
